Lisa M. Aprati is a life-long resident of Chicago Heights and was elected as Clerk for Bloom Township in 2001. Lisa has devoted much of her time to serving the community. She was first elected to public office in 1995 as Commissioner for the Chicago Heights Park District where she served 6 years. Lisa was also elected as Alderman for the City of Chicago for 12 years.
Her efforts have earned her the 2002 Governor's Hometown Award for the Emergency Outreach Program, 2002 Abby Foundation Woman of the Year Finalist, and 2005 City of Chicago Heights Woman of the Year, to name a few.
Lisa is extremely involved in charitable organizations as a spokesperson and volunteer for the American Cancer Society, Susan G. Komen Foundation, Les Turner ALS
Foundation, Little Heroes Pediatric Cancer Foundation and Silver Lining Foundation.
