Bloom Trail High School will be inducting additional members to its Hall of Fame in 2017.

A Bloom Trail Hall of Fame Planning Committee has established the procedures for nominating and selecting the 2017 inductees.  the criteria for choosing new Hall of Fame members include professional achievements, community leadership and service to others.

Hall of Fame candidates may be recommended by completing a nomination form available at Bloom Trail, Sauk Trail and Cottage Grove Avenue in Steger.  Forms also are available at the Bloom Township School District 2016 Administration Center at 100 West 10th Street in Chicago Heights.  Information about nominating a candidate or obtaining the form is available by contacting Rosylen McGhee at Bloom Trail, 708-758-7000.

The Hall of Fame was created to honor outstanding Bloom Trail graduates. The inaugural Hall of Fame ceremony was held in 2000.  Each new hall of Fame member is honored with a plauque bearing his or her likeness placed on permanent display in the Croarkin Library at Bloom Trail.

The Bloom Township Board holds its monthly board meetings on the second and fourth Tuesday of every month at 7:00 pm.

The meetings are held in the Town Hall, 425 S Halsted St, Chicago Heights, IL 60411
